FML. Apple Music was the only one with a high quality enough image to clearly make out the album title, but let me try again, my dear boi:
(I’m retarded in retrospect, thank for your patience - turns out Amazon music has a good clear picture too)

Wow, just wow. Don’t want to overthink it so I’ll just say my top 3 right now (which will naturally be influenced by which era of theirs I’m in at the moment, because all of their albums are straight from the heart, it’s incredible):
A good beginning / An alright start (the song, though of course the album itself is A+ both objectively and subjectively) - also have a soft spot for it because it’s so strangely tranquil to play on guitar despite my general averageness of skill
hopping into puddles, of course, which somehow never gets old no matter how many times you hear it in random places
And in honor of the Great Bort, my favorite from the album with the naked men on the cover: Within me a lunatic sings (tp)
Any that immediately spring to mind for you, my undeniably gorgeous sigur ros-appreciating guy?

Tyvmft, because I love Starálfur, and now I’ll listen to your others with fresh ears, at long last
(funny how some Sigur Ros songs or albums take your breath away the first time, and some have been hiding in plain sight like Easter eggs waiting for the right time to be found on the 100th listen…
speaking of which if you’ll forgive the stream of consciousness threading, I passionately loved Valtari the album when it came out, didn’t listen to it for 10 years because I couldn’t handle the overwhelming nostalgia for that time of life… and then put it on out of the blue last night and it’s somehow everything I remember, and yet so much more…)

after over 100 viewings, the video for Glosoli still brings tears to my eyes, such a gorgeous song
Nyja Lagio (Live at Islenska Operan 1999) is also fucking exquisite
Finally, Svefn-g-englar is absolutely amazing
Best, most mind melting concert I ever attended, where I was in a hypnotic trance for most of the show, no druges but a little alcohol, was a Sigur Ros show that I saw out in the fucking woods once - lights in the trees above etc it was insane
