If could experiment with different life courses I would try to avoid doing raw start ups and try to stay in one place. At age 31 or so I left my first start up and began a promising career in bigcorp. I have wondered what might have happened had I stayed instead of bailing to do another start up, or possibly moved into a mid sized corp instead of a gargantua. I was surprised to learn that there is real evidence for the existence of "psi", although it appears that the effect (as presently understood/employed) is too weak and unreliable to be of practical value. I agree regarding the noise. My suspicion is that there is a kernel of truth that is being intentionally obscured by the powers that be, but as ordinary civilians it is basically impossible for you or I to determine what is true and what is BS. By the way, I've posted under other monikers before, but my brother has a mental illness with presentation similar to your sons' condition (in fact I was doing year-end work related to his special needs trust last night).
