Really kind of funny how people have just totally tuned it out

Presumably there are some senile Fox News boomers who care about it but they don't count. Neither do Jews. I avoid these people irl so they aren't even real to me

What a sad, goofy, embarrassing situation for everyone. Kind of whitepilling that people can just tune it out though

the US is constantly engaging in "light bombing" with some various country somewhere to the point where everyone mostly tunes it out. you never even hear about the Ukrain anymore and that's an actual war. But it's been dragging on for three years. Desert Storm grabbed the country's attention because it was all so sudden. didn't linger

Sure but on paper the "Iran War" is a Pretty Big Deal, right. It's a potential ww3 and nuclear situation and it has caused a global economic recession and surging prices that are really hurting regular people's lives

People still just dgaf because (I think) post-covid basically everyone 'gets' that we're all totally powerless as regular people and there's just no point to thinking about or following this kind of stuff

I guess but this supports my point. If we're constantly in kinda-sorta-wars with whoever, when a Real War arises who would even notice?

nobody really believes in nuclear weapons anymore btw, if you asked millenials & zoomers they'd probably say climate change is a bigger threat then nuclear war by a factor of 20:1

The bullshit 20% of global oil supplies was overstated. The war wasn't even as bad as a few months of the Biden admin on gas prices.
