Don't get me wrong, the vast majority of your time should be spent around chapultapec park (Polanco, La Condesa, Roma, juarez, etc) but there's plenty to do with bull fights, soccer, and lucha. Food scene is excellent on both high and low ends and everything is cheap as shit.
TBH, with your religious persuasion you should probably be in LatAm or Poland every month to lock down dat baby oven. |

Shabazz died in Mexico City on May 9, 2013, at the age of 28.[31] He was said to be touring Mexico to demand rights for Mexican construction workers in the US. His body, which according to prosecutors had been badly beaten with a rod of some kind, was found in the street in Plaza Garibaldi, a busy tourist spot.[32] According to New York magazine, a friend who was with Shabazz the night of his death said the beating was related to a dispute over a $1,200 bar tab for drinks and female companionship.[33]
On May 13, David Hernández Cruz and Manuel Alejandro Pérez de Jesús, waiters at a nightclub called The Palace, were arrested in connection with Shabazz's death.[34] By 2015, Hernandez, Pérez de Jesús, and Juan Dircio Guzmán, the head waiter at The Palace, had been sentenced to — and were serving — terms of 27 years and six months for their roles in the murder.[35][36][37][38] However, by January 2020 the three suspects were released by an appeals court for lack of evidence on the original charges.[39]

Shabazz, the 28-year-old grandson of the slain American civil rights leader, was 12 when he started an apartment fire that killed his grandmother in Yonkers in 1997. He pleaded guilty to second-degree arson and second-degree manslaughter and was sentenced to 18 months in a juvenile facility.
At 17, he was sentenced to three years in state prison for his part in a violent street robbery in Middletown, N.Y. In 2006, at 22, he pleaded guilty to criminal mischief for smashing the window of a Dunkin' Donuts in Yonkers.
Those close to the Shabazz family said he had matured and begun turning his life around, starting to accept the immense legacy left to him by his grandfather. But last year brought him a violent end.
Prosecutors said Shabazz was beaten and robbed by bar staff for refusing to pay an inflated $1,200 tab. He died at a hospital of blunt-force trauma to the head, face and torso. Two waiters were arrested soon after the attack. On Thursday, prosecutors said Guzman was the headwaiter and took part in the assault. |
