It's a big open secret that anyone who observes these companies becomes privy to the more closely you interact with them (but there's no incentive to change the status quo because the supermajority of people within the company benefit from it, like a gentlemen's agreement that everyone just half-asses things). The average management-layer employee has a calendar full of meetings they don't contribute to but nevertheless sit in on (so they appear "busy"), 4 weeks of paid vacation that they assuredly take to the last minute, a couple weeks of fake sick time they finagle in, and they work a real 10 hours max per week putting together charts and "ideating." Projects take forever to complete; everything is constantly delayed; there are significant inaccuracies and mistakes that get glossed over by higher layers of management and leadership; there's no sense of urgency in anything unless it is externally imposed on them.
