Not trying to sound insane, but in some cultures—like the Greenbrier ghost case or the Japanese concept of OnryĆ—spirits come back when something unresolved traps them. Usually it's a violent, unfair, or traumatic death.
This year, I've had three strange cases come my way that felt like.. "requests to restore balance". WMTP would be the third. I didn't know him personally, just a few feuds here and there. But something about his case doesn't feel settled.
Does anyone actually know what really happened? If there's anything left undone—-something unfair, hidden, unresolved—I think it matters. Feel free to post from a throwaway. Not trying to stir drama, just trying to understand what's going on.
Btw, rach knew of the outing and did nothing?

We can meet if you'd like, but you'd have to make a trip. Leave a throwaway.

Response from Perplexity:
Q:
Are there any cultural or spiritual beliefs that ghosts remain restless or need to restore balance after death due to experiencing injustice, trauma, or unfair circumstances?
A:
Yes, there is traditional and cultural knowledge suggesting that ghosts or spirits may remain restless or "need to restore balance" when they have died due to injustice, trauma, or unfair events. Several beliefs hold that a spirit may linger if their death was traumatic or unresolved, causing energy imbalances or disturbances until the issue is addressed or the spirit is able to find peace.
For example, in some Native American cultures like the Navajo, the concept of "ghost sickness" involves spirits that have not moved on after traumatic deaths, potentially causing harm or imbalance to the living by draining their energy. Energy from traumatic death or unresolved emotions can result in symptoms affecting both the spiritual and physical realms, until healing or reconciliation takes place with the spirit to restore balance and allow it to cross over.
Broadly, many spiritual traditions include the idea that an unsettled spirit or ghost may remain tied to the physical world by injustice or trauma, seeking resolution or balance before moving on peacefully. This can involve rituals, communication, forgiveness, or acknowledgment of the harm that occurred.
Thus, the notion that ghosts need to restore balance due to injustice or trauma is a recognized theme in multiple cultural and spiritual perspectives on the afterlife and hauntings

A couple of weeks ago a spirit showed up in my place. My cat bolted like she'd seen a ghost, hid in a box for 3 hours, even skipped her wet food (never happened in 3+ years).
Earlier this year I came across another death, then WMTP. Feels like the chess pieces moved-—justice halfway there, but the game's not over. They're really on top of it. Can someone help me?
I took a video of the moment my cat refused to go out, but it went completely dark.
