$300 billion figure is primarily being described as a private-sector reconstruction and investment fund, not a direct U.S. Treasury payment. Reuters reported that the fund would be financed by private investors and companies from multiple countries (including Gulf states and other international investors), with no U.S. taxpayer money directly funding it. The idea is to facilitate investment into Iran's economy if Iran complies with the terms of a final agreement.
Iran would be smart to avoid this money. It's a fucking trap.

Never once said regime change. I specifically said it was impossible given the entire class of people that could have even possibly made that happen were all executed before any bombs fell and being under attack makes the population fall in line with the IRGC. Nobody would support a US backed regime under those circumstances.
I've also said I have fears this is project for a new American century 2.0 which was great in think tank papers but a disaster in practice.
Also the Iran war was never really about Iran and the details of any ceasefire had little to do with any military strategy. This was all dictated by goals against China. It's all extremely predictable through that lens.

so the ballroom part is privately funded, but the expensive security part is not? and you can differentiate between the two?
if so, then the security part should not be considered part of the ballroom and the administration is misleading, but not lying
if not, if the two things are the same, then they lied, right? i can see how they are not the same thing, though, but listening.
