Date: June 20th, 2018 11:11 PM Author: cerebral electric furnace Kind of heartbreaking to see, especially when you know they don't have family money and their social skills aren't up to cutthroat GC standards. 40 years ago they'd have normal unionized blue collar jobs or do office work and end up as the archetypal Boomer "Bob/Barb in Accounting". In their spare time they'd do model train sets or HAM radio, maybe the occasional sci-fi convention. Their generation just got cockslapped. I really like them and try to be nice to them.
