Either that or you find a good district (but not too good, because kids jump in front of Caltrain in those because superstudys and their fob mothers have ruined them for anyone who wants anything approaching normal - it’s the worst parts of China, India, and the US combined during the nightmare teenage years for the honor of ending up at UC-Irvine). There are about 8 districts that fit the “acceptable” mold and your house is going to be $3.5M and a piece of shit and 85% of your neighbors are extreme libs who overwhelmingly pass every tax increase presented.
