Date: February 14th, 2026 12:11 PM Author: Bistre Drunken Personal Credit Line Gas Station haven't followed sports gambling all that closely, but it seems like it's at the worst or just started barely improving after all the scandals it's caused on top of growing negative public opinions surrounding it because it just makes people poorer. i believe there are fewer things you can gamble on now as a result of the scandals. people question the integrity of pro sports more than ever now because of gambling compromising sports, which is going to kill ratings (NBA being the hardest hit). ideally it'll be banned everywhere outright, but who knows where this will go. but i don't judge them because i used to be a degenerate gambler myself, although not on sports. lost several years of savings gambling on options. my brother controls all my money now, and he invests it all in index funds. haven't gambled in about two years now and have been saving as much as i can. the financial cushion i now have is so much better than the stress and anxiety that came from my net worth dropping to four figures several times from gambling on options. |

It's really remarkable. You have a steady, reliable player pool that will come and play poker, get raked for hundreds of dollars an hour, and you end up in the red.
