A lot of people who are "introverted" just don't like normies. They don't dislike socializing. All humans like socializing, we're social animals. But socializing with normies fucking sucks because normies fucking suck

What introverts are trying to do when they stay home and play video games etc is avoid normies. Not avoid socializing. They still socialize with other people in their own selective ways

This is what people like gunnerattt tp mean when they say they are "introverted extroverts." He just doesn't like normies but doesn't understand himself well enough to get what's really going on

introverts can be outgoing and personable like me. dorks that are intimidated by social interaction might confuse this with extroversion, but that's pure cope: because they don't have the will or capacity to do something they attribute it to a latent inability to (and always in a way that makes them superior).

likewise, extroverts can be completely aspie and repulsive. i think we all know the annoying socially retard architype that cannot stop himself (spaceporn is probably a good example of that).

i get along with normies just fine. they're very often much more pleasant to be around than neurotic types. your issue is that you can't get beyond the "nobody knows that i'm..." meme where you think just because *you* have trouble socializing with people that must mean everyone that can is mindless. that's hubris. like anything else, you can will yourself to do things that aren't intrinsically energizing or even enjoyable to you.

you are right that most "true introverts" are lurkers. everyone poasting, recognizing who they're speaking to, etc. are extroverted to some extent.
