Also, what part of "an e-bike is not a substitute for a car" was unclear to you in my poast? If your parents can afford to buy you a car, that's fantastic. Then you can go see your friends on rainy days, too. But if they can't, I think seeing friends via e-bike is healthier than sitting in front of your phone.

Large companies/F500s in the area have gotten major incentives thrown at them to move into the city and they all unanimously have been like, nah we're good. of course the city is run by dems. A regular bike would be better for fitness, but it's also significantly slower, particularly if you have to go up hills, and I don't always have an hour to burn to get to the dentist's office and back.
