Date: December 15th, 2025 4:37 PM Author: bat-shit-crazy legal warrant today he was late and invited me in his house. while i waited he offered me a cup of coffee, which i accepted. His wife made it and gave it to me while i waited 1-2 mins. Then we were off to work in my car. Day ended normally, we went home together, I dropped him off and drove home.
Then the strange part happened. Almost the second I parked in my garage i get a text message. I read it and its from an app i've never heard of in my life called "tikkie" saying my car pool coworker sent a request i download the app and send him 50 cents for the coffee I had at his house that morning.
I almost felt like it was some kind of weird indian scam or something so i decided to google "tikkie" and its some dutch app that people use to split bills. so i'm convinced its 100% real.
We arent best friends but i think we can joke/talk about anything without any worry. He regularly nigger threads in the car (100% initiated by him and i never engage beyond a soft chuckle). I'm not sure what to do, in any other case id probably beat this guys ass irl but apparently this is normal and acceptable behavior for dutch people? wtf?? |
