I knew lots of Jocks and Preps that literally would only listen to ACDC and Led Zeppelin, and thought that listening to anything else was for fags and weird. Imagine 50,000,000 of these guys out there too. They all listen to the Same Songs. And this sort of stuff was accepted by the people they hung around even if they disagreed - but you could never call them out for their limited musical tastes, they were in the "right."
