Date: April 9th, 2026 11:30 PM Author: chandler (retired) My mom got her distal pancreatectomy today for her pancreatic cancer after 7 months of treatment including 7 infusions of mfolfirinox and 25 sessions of chemoradiation (which actually made the tumor much larger on CT but decimated her cancer markers). Just got back from 14 hours at cedars Sinai.
I don’t think they got clean margins, but I’m at least hoping for an R1, but the surgeon couldn’t confirm that. |
