Date: June 3rd, 2012 6:58 PM Author: disturbing federal toilet seat well it's not a bad time, but there are time frames you want to work with, with most products, i mean if you're really in need of a new system go for it, but if you can wait it out a year there's gonna be a gigantic jump in processing power next year, and the current gen stuff will drop in price like a rock and the next gen stuff will be crazy fast, ivybridge stuff isn't much of a jump from sandybridge. This is akin to buying a car new when it's in the last year of it's cycle.

slightly worse specs, but you get a slimmer computer with 17" of 1080P, and it should be sufficient for what your gaming needs are for the next 3 years, and this is probably the more durable laptop, comes in at under 1,000 with that coupon i showed u above.
you can upgrade the harddrive, and RAM as well, to make it more similar to the specs of the computers u listed and you'll still save a few hundred bucks and have a superior quality laptop. |

intel's coming out with a new chipset next year.
i like the first system but the big knock on it would be that the display resolution is low.
if you're playing diablo and sc2 (and heart of swarm soon), this sytem will easily meet your needs (i'd go with the first system i picked the dv6). |
