It seems very similar to the early internet days. Maybe people are too enthusiastic and it's overhyped, but that's only because of it's obvious potential and FOMO on being an early investor in the next Google or Amazon. Things may crash for the initial exuberance but AI isn't going away and will certainly have a big impact on the future. |

In other words, I believe that AI will make the smartest, most productive people even smarter and more productive. Hence the valuations. At the same time I think the average person who talks about AI all day is basically just a consumer and hobbyist who will never achieve anything great with it.
I admit part of my assessment of the VALUE is because I missed out on the original crypto bull run because I was an IDIOT and now I don't want to miss out on owning my slice of the future. At the same time my dad claims he spends thousands per week on Claude tokens and that he's on the verge of developing some sort of AI algorithm that will make the billionaire Jews who sign his paycheck even more money. I have my doubts. |
