They won’t shut up about it. Look at how horrible the Countertops and Cars were in 1992. Many of the Cars basically couldn’t go at today’s highway speeds. And forget about Zelda. You could’ve bought Earthworm Jim for $60 in 1994.
One thing though, you used to be able to rent games, or get them used for cheap af. Digital games go on sale but they aren’t at the mercy of supply and demand like physical.
Also Nintendo/sony used to mark the old/good games price down. Players choice etc.
Good Games have gotten much cheaper if anything. Bad Games that are also Nintendo? Imagine if Prime 4 were $80 lol. Bad western games still get marked down for $5 or whatever.
