I've seen some opinions that smart contract code was always dogshit and extremely hard to fix. After the release of all those latest Chinese models, what are the odds that we'll start seeing more of these breaches like Coldcard?

theres too much money in it now to be "destroyed". somehow people will figure out how to fraud around the money in a fraudloop so there are still "trillion$"
Are we talking the chances it breaks cryptography itself? Or just increasingly is helping people find security flaws outside the cryptography itself that allow them to walk away with millions or billions? 100% for both, but it's just a matter of how soon.

Yeah, this. I've seen some guy on X who hosts an ETH node and occasionally digs through 2020-2022 smart contracts somehow retrieving money that's been stuck in there for years. I wonder if it's going to become more common in the next few months, maybe not through hosting a node itself, since that's absurdly expensive for a prole, but perhaps through something different.
