I have assigned 8-n points to the top 5, 2 points to the remainder of the top 10, and 1 point to the third tier (which varied from "top 15" to "top 20" in different years. I chose 2003 as a starting point because the 2002 pageant didn't have a third tier and Miss Universe that year was dethroned.
