In fact he was LONELY because people over there call the cops if you tell them you smoked weed when you lived in America.
We decided to grab beers late one night but there was no place chill to just hang out. Places were loud or they served food and shit. We found a place that looked like a normalish bar but without any obvious signs it was a brothel, so we grabbed a table.
I guess it was a brothel after all because no one came to serve us. Instead three burly old men came to the table and asked us to leave. They had a "no Koreans" policy at this bar. It looked friendly to westerners on the outside, and they had no problem with me being there, but they didn't like the way my friend looked, and they thought it was odd that a white man would bring him there. They didn't give us much time to leave or talk about it, and they made sure our exit path was unobstructed by things like menus on the table. |
