For example, the way they would try to run through closed doors or not hear you and turn around unless you actually touched their back was "bad AI" that was improved in Perfect Dark/COD and future metal gear games.
Obviously programmed enemies existed on earlier consoles and PC, but did AI become a culturally understood concept with the arrival of Goldeneye007? Is it the same as OpenAI and Anthropic's product fundamentally? |
