Something was due to a client today. I could have easily done it last night, but rather than e-mail me the revisions that needed to be made, and therefore allowing me to do the work at home, supervisor decides late at night to leave me a paper copy in my chair (despite knowing that this needed to be turned out early this morning).
So when I come in this morning, this massive handwriten stack of revisions is waiting for me on my desk. I frantically try to decipher the chicken scratches and incorporate all the changes/move shit around as needed. This takes about 2 hours. It could have taken 10 minutes if they had just made the changes into the electronic document - or hell just sent it to me last night so at least the 2 hours would not have been so frantic.
I am sure I did a bang-up job changing everything. This was a complete fucking waste of time, now the product is going to be late to the client. And of course, this all makes me look bad. Fuck. |
