NOTE: assume an official national system of organ donors / waiting list as in europe/israel, rather than some sort of free market / black market system.
answer according to whatever moral/legal framework you want, ideally torah law. |

The average net increase in lifespan from receiving the organ and the relationship to list placement is important to know. If this is longer for you than the average of those above you, it would be a strong justification to move up.
How fast the list moves, the damage done by waiting and other things about the list mat-

Date: February 16th, 2018 3:17 PM Author: Chest-beating codepig school how about we assume that the government/experts have thought through all this shit and has come up with a system that takes into account the various considerations. and there's some sort of grievance / appeal process where you can present your case if you think your need is better than they've set it. it's probably not a perfect system, but let's assume it's not corrupt and it's just a bunch of bureaucrats and govt doctors making honest evaluations.
the hypo assumes that you're way down on the list. you dont know exactly how long it's going to be. you dont know how long you can live without one. those are fair assumptions, i think.
by using connections, you'd literally jump up to #1 on the list.
