is picturing a bewildered caveman supposed to be funny or the idea of watchmen having that thought? or is theree some wider context here, because I never laughed at this bullshit
I think part of the "funny" wrt XO flame, thread titles etc. is that these are things being written by ostensibly 'professional' buttoned up people and partly that dissonance makes things funny, learning that hes a Pakistani heroin addict loss prevention officer, etc, really dampens that dissonance and makes it less funny IMO, if it was ever |

If you remember you had to hit the Off-Topic button just to see the threads that weren't specifically about law. So yes the idea was that it was some straight laced biglawyer who had these random musings. His original backstory was that he was "a Canadian law student living in LA." I think his heel turn was tied to a decline in his mental state. He craved the attention he once had but was unable to get it by being a hero. So he went scorched Earth. Around the time he turned heel, we grew further apart as friends. |
