I expect the Model 3 wins this, esp with price factored in.
But the tesla interiors are just such shit, it almost makes me angry. Like the minimalism is a provocation -- haha bet you noticed we don't have turn signals!
Anyone have good reasons why the pricier i4 or ioniq 6 are that much better?

Ooooh *smacks lips*. My favorite kind of thread. I have a Tesla Model X Plaid and my favorite rental car at national is the BMW i4 xDrive40.
Model 3: Tesla self-driving is obviously the best there is, performance is great if you get the Performance model, Supercharger network is huge if you travel long distances (while many have been opened to non-Teslas, not every supercharger is open to non-Tesla vehicles and it costs more to use as a non-Tesla driver).
i4: It is a BMW with a BMW interior and the chassis is a 4 series chassis. It drives very well and is a fast car. The dealer support is phenomenal. Tesla service is very hit or miss. I wouldn't keep either a Tesla or BMW out of warranty.
Hyundai: It is a Hyundai. It is slower, going to driver more crappily and will be cheaper. Not sure why you're comparing a Hyundai to a BMW or a Tesla. If the primary consideration is cost then this or the cheapest model 3 are probably your best bet. You might consider used Model 3s and i4s too. Hyundai service will be the cheapest.

the hyundai evs are very comparable to teslas, tbh.
i think the ioniq 6 is even a better car than the model 3, but its kind of goofy looking and tesla has first-mover infrastructure.
stand alone automobile tho, i like the hyundai
bmw is better but two steps higher in price

Honestly, buying cars online is materially similar with Tesla and others. I bought 3 days online in the past 5 years - a BMW, a Ford and a Tesla. Tesla's website was a little more polished but ultimately it all worked similarly.
You pick up a Tesla at a Tesla dealership generally. The Ford was dropped off at a local dealership, the BMW was brought to the house.
Tesla service is MUCH worse than BMW. It isn't even close.
