Witnesses called the police, who later interviewed me and said nothing could be done bc no humans were hurt. Animal control said the dogs hadn't previously been tagged as being violent so they won't take them unless something happens again. So essentially nothing.

The girl apparently lives in my building and I am meeting with management this morning and am demanding that the dogs be removed before this happens to someone else. Strongly considering killing them myself and taking the misdemeanor charge or w/e.

She had our doorman deliver me flowers and give a message that she'd be willing to pay for an adoption fee for a new dog.

Cops are often lazy on shit like this. If there is a separate animal control agency in your community from whatever agency responded, you should talk to them about having these dogs declared violent and/or possible charges.

Fight the temptation to harm them. Killing another's dog is a felony in my jurisdiction.

Let your neighbors know what happened and other users of the dog run know. Those dogs will kill again, whether it is another dog or a small child.

About a year ago I was walking on the UES. It was dark. Maybe about 8 PM on a Jan. night.

Some chick was "walking" a pitbull. I put walking in quotation marks because for all intents/purposes it was walking her. She had it on a leash but it was clear she couldn't control it.

To my mind if you can't control your dog you shouldn't be allowed to have it.

I hope this woman is kicked out of the condo and I'd absolutely sue for Pain/Suffering.

Flash forward. Horse recovered with much TLC. We sued in SCC and the low lifes ultimately paid months later. Wife and I now carry open or concealed from morning to night and jump every time we hear a dog bark in the distance. I have long guns staged at the doors. If another similar attack occurs it going to be a shootout. First time I hesitated. Won’t make that mistake again.

don't think I initially mentioned it in this thread but the first response I got from management was that the dogs would be able to stay but they wouldn't be allowed to use the enclosed dog park. I got into a huge fight with the building and asked what they planned to do if the pitbulls were riding the elevator with another dog or a small child and attacked and was basically told it wasn't for me to worry about.
