And especially if we institute a draft and use it to train shiftless imbeciles to do something useful. I realize war spending isn't as stimulative as other spending but it's better than nothing.
Plus a war could provide a clean psychological break from our current state of fear and anxiety about our economy. A bloody, drawn out war could jostle the nation out of its self-induced stupor and prompt us create a bold new future for ourselves.
