according to an investment calculator i just ran, $10m invested with $300k/year withdrawn starting at age 40 (withdrawals increase by 2% per year for inflation), assuming an average return of 9%/year, will be worth $861 million when you're 97, even with the $300k/year withdrawn.
so you can either do nothing, or if you want a job you can do anything because you don't really need to make money.
