No clue ljl

Like a cupcake but even smaller. I guess they're easy to transport so women stick them in their purses for later. They also look quite nice in the glass pastry case

dunkin's doughnuts have been practically inedible since 2015 or so when they started mass selling franchise licenses to indian head shop owners iirc

Starbucks is all about producing a mediocre but consistent cup nationwide. It's bad coffee, but you're basically guaranteed to receive that specific cup of bad coffee every time with no surprises. Dunkin franchis often have little in common except the name.

their light roasts are okay but only because it forces the distributors not to burn the beans into a powdery dark mahogany stain ash in the process of rendering them "market ready"

the weird thing about sbux coffee is that the beans themselves are often quite good and sensibly sourced; the roasters just mangle them to get them out of the door. as far as pure consistency goes a cup of 3/5 dunkin coffee is much more "regular" than your typical cup of pike's or similar (and usually tastes better too, despite what i'm guessing is a higher Robusta content)

partially a problem with the consumer, there's so much demand for dark roast because it's all most people ever know. the overroasted flavor is what coffee is to them.

it has the same profile trap that mass market upscale champagne and scotch blends have imo, and the cocktail of flavors and sensations produced by imbibing these ends up saying something both very sick and true about the society that produces them and then markets them as a premium-standard. the soul of Dom is closer to Buckfast than it is to even a middling price Louis-Jadot "single origin" that you might find at places as settled as the Costco liquor store

stuff like Veuve orange and Glenlivet 12 are very guilty pleasures in the same way that i have to imagine j/oing to National Geographic photograph spreads must feel like in the hindbrain

not being a snob here as i enjoy both of these products and appreciate them it's just a little memento mori from the market
