Look at most T14's; the NY passage rate is like 95% for those schools, compared to an overall average of 75% (or something) for NY. I'm sure the same holds true for the other State Bars. |

I feel stupid for studying too much. Which included only going to the barbri review.
Honestly, anyone with some decent smarts shouldn't need more than that 5 hour session and maybe a quick review before the exam. |

Somebody pointed out that 50, 53, and 55 scores were the equivalent of getting 0, 1 and 2 questions right. What's really scary is this person eventually passed and is presumably practicing law in some form (she mentioned passing the LA bar). |

Date: December 8th, 2006 3:21 PM Author: fighting gay abode the MPRE is easy to fail. The first time I took it (cold) I also scored a 50 scaled (which is 25 or 26 out of 50). Of course this was back in 1998 or 1999 and now I think the MPRE is 60 questions instead of 50 (?).
Strange part is after struggling to pass it, and then passing the NY bar, I took the MPRE again to waive into DC and all I did was sit for Pieper's MPRE lecture. I scored a 104 scaled with minimal effort, so that must mean I was studying wrong or Bar/Bri's MPRE course really sucks. |
