It wouldn't need to be a handgun. Short barrel pump shottie would be better. You could pay off the airport janitor to hide it in the toilet. Airport janitors make like $17k so you'd pay him $700 and he'd hide 10 barrels for you.
I still doubt they'd pick it up either way. People fly with metal stuff sometimes. Like doorknobs, nail clippers, or Oscar Pistorious' blades. |

Unless you can make a barrel out of something other than metal (see 3D printed guns) no normal gun is making it on a plane. The single shot plastic guns would probably be fine. |
