This is why lawman kind of has a point, but it's a self-fulfilling prohecy, like, "let's give Dalton a script where Felix gets eaten by a shark, while we wait for Brosnan!"
If you think about it, Bond can do dramatic shit when there are Russians involved like in From Russia with Love or Goldeneye, but otherwise he's at his best when it's basically a comedy, like Goldfinger, or when Brosnan/Moore are doing shit with gadgets, or getting laid. |
