James Bond is supposed to be a very suave spy. What is the #1 characteristic of a spy? Blending in and not getting detected. So image is EVERYTHING = looking the part. Not walking around like a tough guy. That is why Brosnan is by far the best Bond.
Also, I think Bond's calling card is to sleep with many women, not necessarily keep them in line. Brosnan isn't a cuck bitch, so that's all that matters. |

This is why lawman kind of has a point, but it's a self-fulfilling prohecy, like, "let's give Dalton a script where Felix gets eaten by a shark, while we wait for Brosnan!"
If you think about it, Bond can do dramatic shit when there are Russians involved like in From Russia with Love or Goldeneye, but otherwise he's at his best when it's basically a comedy, like Goldfinger, or when Brosnan/Moore are doing shit with gadgets, or getting laid. |
