cfb needs some sort of limit on this transfer bs. transferring twice is cartoonish.

To be fair, he likely wasn't going to start anymore. This is way to let someone play in their final year of eligibility.

I get it. They've always allowed the grad transfer. But they allow one UG transfer as a matter of right. That's because they got a billion "requests" and had to approve them and it was a fucking clown show of trying to create random reasons to appease some bureaucrats. But now the system is basically, you can jump quickly at any time even super early (grad transfer means you had to take some time), and it's fucking insane. It's like switching to no-fault divorce, everyone shocked that divorce rates skyrocket but it turns out requiring a little paperwork kept a lot of parents together lmao

This is more about 5 start and highest rated recruited OU QB Jackson Arnold.

both Heisman front runners are transfer QBs who formerly started at their initial schools, then went on to what they saw as a better opportunity. You think these kids don't see that? You don't think they see what Jalen Hurts is doing right now after he transferred from Alabama(!)?

This is going to become the new normal - everyone is on essentially a 1-year contract

Exactly 1 of the 2023 transfers were in the top 20 of QBR (DJU), and he's leaving again. Nix and Daniels were 2022 transfers. The one-year rental is a total forcememe. Sam Hartman, Devin Leary, Brennan Armstrong, Tanner Mordecai, Cade McNamara were all absolute shit.
