how many different ways can you arrange 14 items/numbers?

that doesn't sound like a very complex problem?

it's not about finding all arrangements of 14 items (there are 14! of those), it's about finding the shortest list (each element of which is one of the 14 possibilities) which contains all 14! permutations within it as sub-lists of contiguous elements

oh i see what they're saying...

"Over lapping is allowed. For example, in the case of n=2, watching episode 1, then 2, then 1 again, would fit the criteria.

The orders must be continuous. For example, (1,2,1,3) does NOT contain the sequence (1,2,3)"

you can easily make arbitrarily long ones (e.g. for n=2 do 11111111...1111121 with arbitrarily many 1s at the start), the exact length of the minimal string for any n is unknown but they give lower and upper bounds on it for n=14 in the article. the 4chan guy found a lower bound for all n and Greg Egan found an upper bound for all n

this is why the male group compact of 'patriarchy'/monogamous marriage is inevitable.

'beta males' serve a useful function and advance human civilization. while women are just birdbrained walking baby incubators who get suckered into voting for open-borders by seditious jews.
