The idea that extended families and nuclear families are somehow oppositional is bizarre and illogical. Strong extended families REQUIRE strong nuclear families. My dad was very close to his sisters (nuclear family) so I'm very close to my cousins. My grandfather was *very* close to his brothers (nuclear family) so I'm close with many of my second and third cousins. None of these extended relationships would exist *but for* the close, loving relationships within the nuclear families.

Libs have concocted this bizarre fantasy where conservative support of nuclear families somehow means they *hate* extended families, which is such completely counterintuitive nonsense that only an overeducated lib could possibly spin himself into believing it. But in reality libs are desperately trying to create a justification for the many parents who have abandoned their children in our failed and declining society. This means too many kids are being raised by people who are not their parents. Libs are just throwing shit at the wall trying to prove that this is A GOOD THING, ACTUALLY, by retconning it as "extended family" and placing it in distinction to those evil conservatives with their evil nuclear families.

True extended family is great & wonderful. But children should be, on a day to day basis, raised by their actual, irl, married parents.
