Ditch the really dark beer. You should get 3 types of beer, equally distributed, but get twice as much regular lager as märzen (oktoberfest). If you're getting married in the fall, i really like the Oktoberfest as a choice.
Re wine, def have it on the table. I agree with getting more red than white. What are you serving for dinner? That will help determine varieties, though Cab is probably a must.
I think you should get some champagne. Champagne is very popular at weddings, especially prior to dinner service. so maybe 1 case of champagne, 1-2 of white, and 3-4 of red.
Your liquor choices are fine. I might add 1 bottle each of baileys and amaretto for coffee/after dinner, but that may be more fancy than you want.
How about adding something interesting for a fall wedding, like spiked mulled apple cider? |

it is niche, but it's nice to have. of the two, i'd get amaretto. not only is it good both as a cordial and w coffee, but girls will also like the amaretto sour option as a drink during cocktail hour.

People love champagne at weddings for the reception and toasts. Ditch merlot. Just one red and one white selection to keep it simple. Lots of people don't like the oaky taste of Chardonnay but will drink Pinot Grigio because it's inoffensive basically like drinking water.
Also I wouldn't get 2 maker's. get a jack Daniels since lots of people like jack and coke. |

as for oktoberfests being unreturnable, you could buy sierra nevada oktoberfests. they do a limited run every year where they collaborate with a different german brewery. you can sell them to beer collectors if you really need to make you're money back. this years run is 180, certainly a lot better than sam adams and if you have any beermos coming they'll be excited to try it.
i have no idea about amstel but sounds like its purpose is to be something easy to drink that isnt incredibly prole like bud light so it should work fine |
