In a weird way, the Deloitte girl really WAS wronged

And she did the wrong thing by making these threats. But she was wronged by the broader culture. For several weeks, the message was "there is no such thing as too woke, wokeness trumps any taboo including those against murder and theft, and you will be supported for pushing wokeness as far as it can go." She then went on to push wokeness fairly far--to an extreme level, no doubt, but not to a level that others didn't reach before her with impunity--and she was shitcanned for it. Deloitte randomly decides that there's a level of crime that can trump your wokeness and get you fired, when prior to this no company or any other influential group was sending this message. So she kind of had the chair pulled out from underneath her when there was no reasonable expectation of that happening.
