Even if he is dead wrong in the grand scheme of things, he does make some interesting points from time to time. I think he just fundamentally doesn't understand what is really going on with AI and how it will absolutely become profitable in a world historic way. |

The WSJ had some (pure ragebait) article several months back about random blue collarmos who had $1m+ stock portfolios. I'm talking auto mechanics and x-ray tech type people who have just been plowing cash into the market on Robinhood and making bank.

Some of these people live in giant houses and drive 250k sports cars in their 20s. If they invest well they retire at 40 like dirte tp with a big ass lake house and everything a prole could ever need.

If it does, all the valuations are more than justified. They're undervalued. If it doesn't the world economy is going to collapse. There's only one way to find out. If AI wins over time just like the internet and lots of previous major innovations like the printing press, the steam engine, and the automobile. Ed is saying that based on zero evidence AI is not a revolutionary technology. Meanwhile every passing day it unironically continues to prove that it is. Ed is getting mogged by reality. |
