12 person league, with 1 WR/RB flex position. It's a PPR league, with 0.5 points per reception.

In the flex position, I can start either Ricky Williams, Percy Harvin, or Brandon Jacobs.

I intend to start Ricky. Thoughts?

I'd go with Ricky, he always runs wild against the Bills. Favre is too fickle in minny.

Like I said above, I'd go with Ricky. I think it will be better to list all of these Q's in one thread.

As for RBs, which of these three would you start?

MJD (duh)

Pierre Thomas @ Minny

Arian Foster vs. Colts

Ahmad Bradshaw vs. Carolina

Beanie Wells

MJD is obviously in. Right now I've got Pierre and Bradshaw slated to start. I think Bradshaw is going to have a breakout year, and he's the starter. I feel like I probably have to play Foster, and should probably take out Bradshaw, but I'm having trouble doing it.

I think Beanie is definitely out.

I would definitely start Foster against the Colts run defense.

Agreed that Bradshaw will likely have a break-out year, and he needs to have a good couple of early games to solidify his starting spot, so I would go with him, too.

Beanie might get a lot of touches, given the QB situation in AZ, but he's not at the level of your other options.

Definitely Foster, I saw him run all over the cowboys a few weeks ago (granted its preseason but still).

My first reaction is Wells because the Rams are terrible again this year. However, they'll probably put 8 in the box because derek anderson sucks. There is also the touchdown stealing Tim hightower in the mix.

I'd go with Bradshaw. I don't like Carolina alot this year.

Beanie's knee is hurt. Hightower is starting, and Beanie's carries will likely be limited.

You have 3 RBs and a flex and you got all of these #1 RBs in a 12 team league? That's awesome.

I wouldn't start anyone but a top 8 or so back against Minny, and especially not an RB in a share like Thomas. Foster v. Colts is good, although Sanders is back, which drops that match up from ideal to decent. Keep an eye on the Wells situation b/c they aren't clearly saying he's out, and even if he just gets 15 touches, he might be the best play here given his match up. But as of right now I'd go with MJD, Foster, Bradshaw.

2 RBs and flex, in a 10 team. So significantly worse than what you thought. Though I think its still decent.

Thomas isn't really in a share, save with Bush who they sparingly use. He's the kind of back who can do well against Minny, since he catches balls out of the backfield.

Uh, I guess. Reggie gets all the 3rd down reps when he's healthy. He's much better at it. Are you in a 1PPR league? In any case, you're basically looking at 15-20 touches. I think Bradshaw and Foster see more than that against worse defenses.

Also, I just think Minny is going to throttle the Saints tonight. They've spent nine months stewing re: outplaying the Saints and having the game in their hands and then imploding spectacularly and getting bullshit OT pwn3d.

Does it make a difference if the guy I'm playing has Brett Favre? That should encourage me to play Harvin, no?
