1. Typhoon Sinlaku: Passed directly over the islands of Saipan and Tinian in the Northern Marianas with peak winds approaching 150mph overnight on April 13-14. Significant damage to structures. 3 dead on land and 6 lost at sea. Some additional structural damage on Guam, located to the south. |
