Hence, their aloof air and condescending attitude. Accordingly, they rebuff your attempts at chatter, batting away any discourse like a fly on a hot summer's day. This has been my experience at many conferences. With Weil, in particular, I tried to speak with a partner who treated me like a non-entity on a networking platform. Those who find themselves in position of prominence in their field often yield this gift like a weapon, only they forgot one thing. Your fortune can evaporate quicker than it took you find it. So, no. I don't feel bad for the lawyers at Weil. They wouldn't feel bad for me either.
