Sounds like a damn good decision.
NU is a premiere undergrad institution with top-notch departments, and Feinberg is a top med school.
On the other hand, I know a kid who turned down Harvard College for Brown PLME, which guarantees admission to Alpert. Third-rate UG, third-rate medical school. lol, just lol. That's real risk aversion.

And then there's the University of Chicago. It has a similar portion of its class going to grad school, but it's employment number is 14 percentage points lower, and the "seeking employment" number is 13 percentage points higher.
