which one would you choose if you had gotten into both but had to choose one. assuming ~2-3 years of work experience and a genuine interest in law.

take law for t25?

for TTTs?

Yeah the average HBS grad makes a lot less than I thought:

http://www.hbs.edu/recruiting/mba/resources/career.html

175k's still better than biglaw, especially when you consider fewer of them enter up/out outfits like law firms.

pre-ITE, law firms were not known for being up and out. that's why there's this whole thing about law students being risk averse pussies.

if anything, top b-schools grads head to places that are even more cutthroat/up and out than law firms -banks, consulting shops, etc.

standard banking comp, before the crash, was 95 base and then 150 to 200k bonus. hedge funders made even more.

A student at a Caribbean med school is less prestigious than a student at an elite business or law school. But a successful doctor who went to a Caribbean med school is more prestigious than a washed up HYS lawyer.

Don't choose based on prestige. If you want to be a lawyer or work in government, do law school. If you want to work in business or are unsure of what you want to do, business school.
