internet philosopher of sorts, self-published a book called Bronze Age Mindset, spawned a cultish following on twitter. In many ways, BAP is a meme, but he does one thing better than anyone else: he captures the essence and necessity of vitalism. It's not meant to be a rigorous book of affirmative philosophical vision, so much as a vitalist critique of the modern shitscape, but I think it's far more important to people living today than many more credentialed, academic tomes.

And rumor has it that the guy behind the pseudonym went to Yale and MIT; if true, not terribly surprising that the book punches above its purported weight

And actually, after reflecting on it and what we know of Hegemon and of me, it’s clear that this thread consists of a mentally healthy if stressed person pushing back against a rather pure psychopath’s narcissist efforts to draw people to him. While philosophers are in theory the subject of the thread, the Meta topic is me calling a psychopathic narcissist out by saying BAP and serial killers are not actually useful or credited philosphers.
