Looks like they went all out for this on production whereas HG1 wasn't really a good movie but the performances sold it (ie, Sandler wouldn't make that movie again today) |

As someone who plays golf now, I am shocked that I ever liked this movie. The main character is an unmitigated psychopath that should've been arrested and committed to a mental asylum at least 30 times in the first act alone. The female love interest subplot was hilariously unrealistic. Like this is how a 10 year old incel thought adults did romance in 1990. But the absolute WORST part of the entire movie is the hockey stick putter he gets at the climax. If I see that stupid hockey putter in the new movie I'm turning it off right away.
