Yeah, I just checked disparate and it's a little different from what I expected. Seems odd, though, because its use in "disparate impact" implies inequality, not simply being so different as to prevent comparison. Heck, the idea of "disparate impact" is that you ARE comparing two groups and finding that one is doing a lot better. |
