Just like with newer housing, old houses run the gamut from well built solid as a rock to crappy and falling apart. And you'll find that older pre 1950 neighorhoods are among the most desirable partly due to quality and appearance of housing stock.
As for the OP, there's a national housing shortage and plenty of demand for large houses in exurban areas. |
