Talking to my daughter, today’s tribes are fuzzier.
It seems there are less rigid labels which is interesting.

The cliques were most clear cut in late middle school through prob 10th grade. Once kids hit 16 or 17 they mature a bit and there's a blurring of the social lines. |

Lower Cliques are invisible to Higher Cliques the further out you get. The HS senior Jock or Hot Girl doesn’t care enough about Losers/Loser Girls to bully them at that point.
