I have looked at pharmacy textbooks and the vast majority is straight up memorization. There are no analytical skills needed per se. Their exam is a fucking joke in comparison to the bar. B) The profession is just starting to be saturated. I have some friends in pharmacy school and according to them, the market is getting much more competitive than it used to be. Additionally, I think more and more schools are opening up pharmacy schools (this sounds familiar).
As for nurses. I have no idea, but I don't think most nurses make 6 figures though. I think that they have to be working weird hours or specialized, but i could be wrong. Besides who the hell would ever want to be a nurse? The job sucks, most of the other nurses suck, and your not really respected by anyone. I used to hang out with some nursing students; most of them had personality defects or were kind of stupid (especially the males). And just to point out, in the 80's there was a surplus of nurses, and many left the field, so there might not be a lack of nurses forever (if one even really exists now, many hospitals have laid nurses off). |
